The end of a glorious day, and season. Thank you to each and every one of you who sacrificed and came down for the wedding, who were here and helped, and were part of this special day in our family's life! Thank you so much for your love and prayers. It is with some wonder and incredulity that I have reflected these last days that it has been TWO years since all this happened. It seems impossible that this is so. So much has happened since. There were so many grace gifts that were part of this time. I am being mindful to thank God again for each one. I love you Derek and Amber, and am thankful for your marriage and your lives. This blog is for you! May God continue to richly bless your lives and your new home! I can't wait to see it! Love you up to the moon, Mom!

DeleteMomma words cannot express how meaningful and significant your words are! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You made all my dreams come true and you sacrificed so much to honor and celebrate Derek and I.

ReplyDelete12.5 years ago all four of your kids walked down an aisle for us. How can time fly by so quickly? Our 2 youngest are in a wedding in August...so in 12 years I could be writing a blog post like this?! That's crazy. Your children continue to bless us as we daily endeavor to raise our children in a godly, counter-cultural, way. We know that "good" parenting does not guarantee "good" kids, but we see God's faithfulness to your family and are on our knees for similar blessing in the lives of our kids. All these years and all these miles, you continue to encourage and exhort us.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Amber and Derek! May the Lord ever be the center of your marriage, and may He use you in mighty ways to bless those around you!
