Caution: Lots of detail! Only for those interested in our apt.

The Tassy family is in the USA for their furlough/HMA, and generously have allowed us to sublease their home for summer.  I thought I would give you a walk-through tour.   Walking through the apt. From front door in!  This is the view from front door--little entry way. The door on left is into the kitchen....
This is the view from that door (referenced above)  The kitchen wraps around to the left....

This is the "left"!  The construction out the kitchen window, for the old timers from Quito, is what is being put up in Mary Schneider's house with the pool, it is gone, as is the place next door, and this apt. complex is going up.
Standing at kitchen sink, looking back towards door that goes out into the entry way.
From the entry way, into the dining/living area.
Awesome dining table that is square!
Looking from the dining area--on the left is the second door into the kitchen, and on the right is the doorway into the bedroom area.
The living room, in the morning it is a little darker as the sun is streaming through the kitchen and master bedroom, and small bedroom window.
A small work space that all bedrooms and one bathroom are off of.

This will be Austin's room when he is in town.
This will be Stephanie Richardson's room when she comes for Dana's wedding
Another "Natalie Pic"  this is the view from the chair in "Austin's" bedroom.
The Master bedroom.  Full of incredible sunshine in the morning, til almost 1 p.m.
The master bedroom as corner windows, the view out the one window is above (looking towards Ante Sana, in the East) and below is the view out the second window.  Notice the little "patio" but you have to climb out a window to get to it.  The owner was unable to put a doorway out to it because of zoning constrictions.

The view from the windows in the master, back towards the door way.  Amazing, built-in closets in this place.
 Phil's work space!
This is the view of our building from the street.  The apt. we are in is the first two windows above the car.  Phil is in front of the Tassy's great car which we also get to use!  We are so incredibly thankful.  This is not just a place to sleep, it feels like "home" it is beautiful, and furnished with many touches that we really love and enjoy.  God has been more than good to us in providing such a place for these weeks that we are in Ecuador.  It is fun to be on the other side of this, as for many years, others used our home while we were Stateside for summer.
These two windows are the apartment we are in.  The one "behind" the lamppost is the living room.
The one on the right with one blind up and one down is "Austin's" room for the summer.
This is my new work place!  I shared my Lakewood one with you yesterday!  You can see my computer, and this is my favorite spot to sit and do email, and work on this blog!  It is bright and cheerful.  I am just full of thanks for this lovely home, and the generosity of the Tassy family!  They made space for us in their closets, and have opened their home to us sharing hospitality that will make the difference in our stay this summer.  Thank you Tassy Family!  Thank you God.
