Grandmas can be proud!

And Sebastian-- almost 11 months old!

Here is Ethan the day he was born!

Here is Ethan the day he was born!

Grand baby Ethan is en route into world

What a strange mixture of joy intermingled with concern! A baby arriving "early"!
Is there such a thing from Gods perspective? When the time was right...that's how God does things! Maybe babies are more attuned to this truth than their parents or grand parents.
Today I was going to be grocery shopping, doing some spiritual direction, making dinner for a friend, playing with my kitten and resting!!! However, God had another idea, and I am on a plane winging my way to Kansas City and a new grand baby and his parents! Just like that the day took a sharp turn! I was showered and packed and out the door in under an hour! I guess the gift is that there was no time to think of all I would be leaving undone, priorities distilled quickly--
And away I went. If I can do this in crisis I wonder if there is a lesson here? Another call to simplify? Live with hands open?

you CAN teach an old dog new tricks

So my mom taught me how to make the awesome dish clothes that she supplies me and many of my friends with!!! Disclaimer: this does not exonerate her from continuing to make them nor does it mean the mantle of responsibility for making them has fallen onto my shoulders!
Having a great time with family first in Kansas City then Toronto! More to follow!
