Beauty of Ecuador! Teams on the Ground!

Another picture of Cayambe at sunset!  It is so stunningly beautiful!  I never get tired of looking at these mountains, and so therefore, never get tired of sharing their beauty!
Like I said, this country is full of such variety and contrast.  Same, Ecuador, the coast!
 Glorious sunsets at Same!
Banana plantation.  The banana pods are hanging in green netting to protect from the birds.  You can see them if you look carefully, especially on the right hand side of this picture.

Lush jungle!  The coastal province we were in is called Esmeraldes meaning emerald with good reason!
Brad, our team leader, and long time friend, doing an orientation for a team that has just landed.  This is a small group that Cody and Ethan Underwood  were able to join up with.  We have known Cody and Ethan since they were babies, and their parents are our dear dear friends.  So fun to have the boys come and experience Ecuador.  Austin gets to be one of the hosts on their team.

Cody, Austin, Phil, and Ethan outside the Youth World office, just before they took off for the jungle!
We also have Steve Rundle on the ground.  He is a prof from Biola's School of Business and is here teaching an intensive course for the Business students that are here.  Phil is setting up the projector, and getting the room ready for class.
Stephanie is here from Long Beach!!!! Yeah!  Here she is being goofy with the shepherd's hook that we were running all around with trying to get someone to make more of them for the wedding decorations!  We drove and walked all around on Saturday and Monday with this thing!  We laughed pretty hard about it being our own version of a flat stanley!
Stephanie and I were walking with the hook and one of my tables that we pulled out of storage to use for Dana's wedding.  Here we are getting it up into the house!  We were laughing pretty hard.

And, again, Cotopaxi on a brilliant sunny afternoon.  I told you I never tired of gazing at these mountains!
